location and treatment of reception
Leave the godforsaken customer if you come by car. They have a very small parking lot, they do not guarantee you a place and they do not have a parking lot or similar for the client. I do not advise it if you travel in car it is an authentic odyssey. The cleaning staff makes a terrible noise when doing their job (clean rooms by the way) waking us up from our rest (siesta) . We had an incident that we considered serious since having the sign of not disturbing and having warned that they will not enter to make the room (this day in particular) when returning we saw that they had entered, they had opened the windows wide and they had changed things to us of place. We complained at the reception and have not received any apology. We consider it a violation of our privacy. Because of this detail and because of the problem of the. Car we will not have this hotel for future stays.

It is a great and absolutely brilliant property located in Chamberi district so close to several areas, many metro stations and supermarkets and good bars. The breakfast is sensational, fresh food. The hotel has fab location and courteous and very welcoming staff that care about customer service. It is on a quiet side street.

I like it's central position close to the Metro so the Airport is 2 Euro and 40 minutes away. The saving on taxis buys an evening meal!

situation, clean and quiet neighborhood, right next to the subway, bus stops were the best for us. important discount they gave us for the public parking, since there were no spaces in their own garage, was very grateful. Another thing that surprised us favorably was the excellent Internet connection, computers and printer freely available, was most useful, since we had a computer, no printer. treatment of the staff was correct, formal, efficient and distant, as is expected in an establishment of this category, I missed someone to help me with the bags on arrival and departure, in other circumstances would have been a small inconvenience, had some broken ribs, I found it difficult to maneuver myself to raise and lower the bags, while my husband was going to bring the car from the parking, you can not leave the car in front of the entrance more than 10 minutes, so my husband could not stop to upload them. I don't go much to the four star category, so I don't know if it is normal that there are no buttons, waiters, someone to help with the bags, if it is normal I think it is a detail that should be corrected
the receptionist's attention, correct, but little involved with the clients.

I didn't order breakfast. I've known and frequented this hotel for years. In other rooms they "remembered" me. This time, although the staff was friendly, it seemed that I was a paratrooper compared to other times. The location is very good.
Well, there was a serious breakdown in the water supply that did not allow us to shower after the first night of our stay (05/04). I was with my son and they proposed that we move to another room. It was a professional gesture but it didn't make much sense since we were only staying for two days. Of course, I asked to check out at 14:00 (06/04), but they proposed me to stay until 16:00 paying an extra 18 euros, and there was another option until 19:00. I consider that after the breakdown, although it is still an accident, the hotel could have had a detail, or gesture. But, "nobody remembered us" after several stays and, of course, we left a lot before 16H00, but after paying the bonus.

The place was reasonably priced. Truly enjoyed spending my time in this fairly clean old-fashioned hotel. The staff was courteous and very welcoming, I stayed for 4 nights. The breakfast was excellent, the choice of pastries, fruit, cheese and meats.

We really liked the location, quiet at the hotel, but near to the local bars and restaurants, just a very short walk away
Nothing was really bad about this hotel in any way.... The decor in the hotel would benefit from an update.. Its not worn out, but as a client you would appreciate a freshen-up, Thats about all.

Staff can speak with English
If the Air-con can provide more "hole" for the air is better.

The situation and general condition of the hotel - seems to be a fine 19th century building, restored. Has a spacious entrance, and probably good conference facilities.
However, due to its origins, its lift service is only moderate. Its only two lifts do not start on ground floor but up some stairs on a Mezzanine. The allocation of rooms - on arrival - seemed somewhat capricious. Attention seemed lacking. This is a matter to be taken up by post, direct.
